Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for an Project Manager to become a part of our outstanding team.  The Services organisation is responsible for the overall definition and delivery of professional services – implementation, consulting and training - to Applied’s European market in support of software sales and ongoing optimisation of our industry-leading broker management system software and extended solutions.Project Managers are responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of multiple system implementation projects. Working with our clients, this position manages the execution of assigned implementation service needs, utilizing a methodical approach to planning and guiding project processes from start to finish. Project Managers will also create and execute both internal and client communication strategies, driving overall customer relationships by pro-active involvement and ongoing contact. What You’ll Do- Create a comprehensive Implementation Project Plan including a Scope Statement, Risk Register and Task Register- Implement and maintains project schedule, project documents, and meeting notes- Identify project stakeholders and stakeholder requirements and negotiate project governance rules with these key individuals- Provide integrated change control via an established change request process- Provide comprehensive and on-going risk management- Work with Services operations and/or management to determine resource needs and availability- Perform appropriate and timely follow-up with both the customers and internal areas to ensure project plan is progressing as scheduled; conduct meetings when necessary- Provide recommendations and communications for mid-course adjustments; act as the primary negotiator for conflict resolution- Maintain accurate revenue projections across all active projects- Maintain and approve time keeping records that will be used in client billing- Maintain accurate project status reporting across all active projects- Conduct formalised post implementation customer satisfaction review- Meets or exceeds billable utilisation target (70% or as advised)- Utilise generally accepted/recognised project management methodology and practices- Pursues a program of self-development through the use of selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education.- Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers. What You’ll Need to SucceedWe’re looking for someone who:- Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems Office Your experience should include some or all of the following:- 2 or more years of working within a Project Management position- Strong technical competence in software development technologies and in depth knowledge of the software delivery life cycle.- Strong leadership skills; able to develop and motivate a project team- Outstanding customer relationship management skills- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid speaking, facilitation, and presentation skills- Highly skilled in the art of negotiation - Highly organized; can handle multiple projects concurrently; demonstrated proficiency in Planning, Needs Assessment, and Project ManagementWhat You’ll Gain- Private Medical Insurance and Eye Care- Wellness incentives- Pension scheme with employer matched contributionsWork-Life Balance- Competitive paid vacation time and a free day for your birthday- Personal/sick time- Paid holidays- Flex Time- Volunteer time offEmpowering Career Growth and Success – We invest in talent, care about our people and are empowered by the results of our work.
